A walkthrough of how Automated Data Feed runs the flagship Throughput & Failure Assessment for streaming applications.
This path is for teams who need a finite, evidence-led review—not a standing monitoring contract. Most assessments finish in two to three weeks once access is ready.
1. Scope call
We confirm which streams carry customer impact, what “healthy throughput” means for you, and which failure classes already keep you up at night. You leave with a short access checklist.
2. Observation window
Across peak and quieter periods we capture throughput, lag, retries, and error clusters. Your technical counterpart answers naming questions so we do not misread a metric.
3. Analysis
We correlate stalls with handlers, dependencies, partition layout, and recent changes. Failure signatures get names your on-call can reuse.
4. Findings delivery
You receive a written report and a live walkthrough. Remediation items are ranked with suggested owners. Optional quarterly checkups can continue from that baseline.
What you prepare
- Read access to the metrics for streams in scope
- Notes or chat exports from the last few related incidents
- A named engineer who can answer within a business day
- Any hard constraints on change freezes during the window
